Scotch Butchers Club

At Quality Meat Scotland we believe independent butchers deserve support, advice, and top quality promotional material. We invite butchers to join our Scotch Butchers Club. Not everyone can be a member, but if you source top quality beef, lamb, and pork from an approved supplier, and if you can confidently label your products “Scotch”, you can become a member. Join us, and for just £50 a year, you can look forward to increased recognition from your customers.
The advice and skills you offer customers as an independent butcher is something to be proud of. To help promote your status, the Scotch Butchers Club offers club members excellent point of sale material and branded promotional items four times a year. What’s more, three newsletters a year keep butchers up to date with developments in the meat trade.
Friendly guidance and accurate information on issues affecting your business, including changes in legislation, is available at all times. QMS holds education seminars and meetings where independent butchers can get together to exchange ideas and knowledge several times a year.
We offer our club members exclusive discounted material, like branded aprons and carrier bags.
If you want more support and recognition for your status as an independent butcher, it’s time you joined the Scotch Butchers Club. Simply call June Lomax on 0131 472 4114 and she’ll tell you more.
DOES YOUR SHOP COMPLY WITH THE LAW?
The Meat Products (Scotland) Regulations introduced changes in the requirements for the composition and labelling of meat products and the calculation of meat content. Businesses are now expected to comply with the new regulations.
