The royal visitor saw many award-winning products made by the family business which is a member of the Scotch Butchers Club and prides itself on serving 100% Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb and Specially Selected Pork.

HRH also met including Rory and Andrew Duff of MacDuff 1890 and beef farmers Johnny and John Paterson of Garrionhaugh, South Lanarkshire

A host of organisations are supporting a "Sheepwise" video produced by QMS and NSA Scotland to encourage the public to be aware of the need to keep dogs under control in the countryside. The aim is to drive awareness with a combined social media push of the video ahead of the busy Easter weekend when 1000s of people will be heading to the countryside with their canine companions.
