QMS works closely with the food service sector to raise awareness and increase the understanding of Scotch Beef PGI, Scotch Lamb PGI and Specially Selected Pork.
The main vehicle for this activity is the Scotch Beef Club, a group of 300 British restaurants who are proud to serve Scottish red meat industry products.
Membership of the Scotch Beef Club is unashamedly based on quality, and benefits both restaurants and the customer. It gives the restaurant and their patrons the confidence that the identified Scotch red meat products served is what it is claimed to be.
Education, training and communication are the most important elements of QMS food service activities. Through the Scotch Beef Club’s training videos and butchery demonstrations, QMS works with restaurants and catering colleges to promote the outstanding quality, exceptional taste and versatility of Scotch Beef PGI, Scotch Lamb PGI and Specially Selected Pork.
